Range Rover Evoque – Concept Road Bike
Range Rover Evoque
Concept Road Bike
Led by its design director, Gerry McGovern, luxury SUV maker Land Rover will be making headway into the cycling market this year with the Range Rover Evoque Concept Road Bike. Designed to be the ideal recreational vehicle, at least by the mean of bipedal, the Concept Bike is the perfect complement to the new Range Rover Evoque. Made from high modulus carbon fiber monocoque frame, handcrafted by Karbona with methods similar to building a F1 race car, aerospace alloy handle bars and composite seat post complete the bike’s lightweight aspect. Next, transmission control is giving to the 20-gear Shimano Ultegra system, all braking and performance components are color-matched while portions of the frame are branded with Range Rover and Evoque graphics. A leather seat and silicone-gel grips extrude a bit of luxury and comfort, Range Rover Evoque Concept Road Bike is currently just one-of-one unit made for the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month. Many have already expressed interest in purchasing both Range Rover Evoque and the concept bike as a complete package though words if Land Rover will produce more in the near future.
